JOB PURPOSE

Social Media & Communications Specialist

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability in using digital tools and social media to achieve communications objectives.
  • Leverage and measure efforts on social media platforms to achieve business objectives, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google and other new media (both paid and organic).
  • Develop well thought out analytic reports highlighting performance, insights and recommendations that serve business and communication objectives.
  • Manage social media, website, hellopeter queries and complaints
  • Assist with point-of-sale requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in communications strategy development (essential Working knowledge of digital tools including a monitoring / analytics system (such as Meltwater, Facebook and Google analytics).
  • Exceptional research, writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in fast paced, client service environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt content to suit different publication channels.
